Worlds of Fantasy!

Today was our annual trip to Disney on Ice! This year the theme was "Worlds of Fantasy". It was Cars, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King and Tinkerbell!

We got there an hour early for the Princess Pre-Show. All the Princess costumes were there and Cinderella even made an appearance!

Emily just loved it! Jimmy got antsy during Tinkerbell, but overall he sat pretty good for over an hour!

Happy 1st Birthday Jimmy!

I can't believe that you are 1 year old already! Where did the past year go?!

You went from this....

To this.....

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY BIG BOY!!! We love you very, very much! Love, Mommy, Daddy & Big Sister Emily!

That's So Magic!

Jim took the kids to meet Michelle & Laura at Pizza Hut. Abby Cadabby was going to be there!

Emily just loves her and was excited to see her! She even wore her Abby shirt!

Jimmy was not thrilled that Abby was coming within 10 feet of him. Apparantly, he would actually stare her down to make sure she wouldn't come near him!

Its a great day for a party!

Since his birthday was on a Tuesday, we had Jimmy's first birthday party today! We had about 20 of our family and friends there to celebrate this happy day with us!

A very big thank you to you all! You made Jimmy's party something to remember! We love you!

The wait is over!

Okay, I'll admit....I'm a little sad now!

Jim (the great husband that he is!) took the day off of work so he could take me to see Twilight! He knew how much I loved the books and how excited I was to see the movie!

Although the book was much better...I have to admit that I preferred the Thunder Baseball scene in the movie. Overall, it wasn't a bad adaptation. I guess now I have New Moon to look forward too!

Smile!

Today we took the kids to Kiddie Kandids to do Jimmy's 1 year pictures (yes, already!) and pictures for the Christmas card. They turned out really well!

Come and play....

Today Jim took the kids to Pizza Hut to see Big Bird! He met Michelle and Laura there. Needless to say, Big Bird was kind of scary. Jimmy wanted NOTHING to do with him!

Halloween at Wild Pines!

Today we took the kids up to visit Michelle & Laura and attend the Wild Pines Halloween Party! We all had a wonderful time! The girls just love playing together and Jimmy tries to get in on the action!

Guess what color the icing on the cupcake was!

We sure did get a lot of use out of the costumes this year!

Happy Halloween 2008!

Since we live in a neighborhood where there are a lot of bears, we took the kids to the local mall for trick or treating! Its great...and climate controlled!

Since Emily already has so much candy from Lafayette Village, luckily some of the stores give out stickers instead of candy. Emily just *loves* getting stickers!

Snow?....its not even Halloween yet!

We got surprised by a snowstorm that, by the time it was done, dropped almost 6 inches of snow on us! We didn't even have time to get the leaves all raked! This will make an interesting Halloween!

Lafayette Village Trick or Treat!

Today, we dressed up the kids and packed them up to go to Lafayette Village for some trick or treating!

Emily was Little Red Riding Hood and Jimmy was a penguin! Yes, a penguin! No, he was NOT happy about! But they both still looked adorable!

I Now Pronouce You.....

Today, we traveled through the rain to attend Fred and Maggie's Wedding! It was a beautiful wedding! The Tarrytown House was just so beautiful.....but not as beautiful as the bride!

Pumpkin Picking!

Today was a beautiful day, so we took the kids pumpkin picking at Heaven Hill Farm.

For those of you that remember, we make the 45 minute trip every year to get our pumpkin. We live IN a HUGE farming area, yet we still travel to get a pumpkin! Its one of our quirky little traditions!

So, we packed up the kids and got ready to go have some fun.
